About the organization
The Council ensures coordination of cooperation between the CIS Member States in the field of youth policy.
The activities of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States are aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of youth cooperation as a factor in maintaining and deepening friendly relations as well as at expanding and improving international youth cooperation in the Commonwealth of Independent States on the principles of equality, establishing broad interaction between government agencies, youth public associations and by other organizations, involved in the implementation of the state youth policy.
Meetings of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States are held twice a year. The place, time and agenda of the next meeting are determined by prior agreement of the Council members.
The following projects are being implemented with the participation of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States:
• International youth project "100 ideas for the CIS" (since 2014),
• Youth Interparliamentary Forum of the Commonwealth of Independent States (since 2014),
• Forum of Youth Public Organizations of the CIS Member States (since 2016),
• Interstate program "Youth Capital of the CIS" (since 2021),
• Youth Delphic Games of the CIS Member States.
