Institute of Social Communications of Udmurt State University
About the organization
The Institute of Social Communications has been in existence since 1994. Before that, the division had the following names: Higher Women's Courses (1994–1995), Higher College of Social Communications (1996–1997), Faculty of Social Communications (1997–1999).
The Institute has three departments:
- Department of Tourism and Business Technologies in the Socio-Cultural Sphere,
- Department of History, Theory and Practice of Social Communications,
- Department of Social Work.
The departments provide training in the areas of "Organization of youth work" (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree), "Social work" (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree), "Media communications" (Master's degree), "Cultural Studies" (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree), etc.
