Biography

Galina Cherednichenko is a chief researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She is also the scientific secretary of the Center for the Sociology of Science and Education.

In 2015 she defended doctoral dissertation on the topic "Formation of educational and professional trajectories of youth: external regulators and actions of subjects" (the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences).

Areas of academic interest of G. Cherednichenko include sociology of education and methodology of sociological research.

Developer of methodological research issues, scientific and organizational head of field research, author of the final publications of a number of research projects, such as: "Education as a factor of differentiation and integration in modern Russia", "Student and his work", "Effectiveness of the practice of education abroad", "Educational and professional trajectories of youth in modern Russia Russia", "Working youth in the conditions of innovative development of Russian society: educational and professional trajectories", "New meanings in youth educational strategies", "Russian youth, education, labor market: challenges of modernity and social practice".

Member of the IC04 "Sociology of Education" of the International Sociological Association, member of the IC "Sociology of Education" of the Russian Society of Sociologists. She is also the author of 4 personal and 24 collective monographs.
