An important task for the state is to preserve the memory of the Great Patriotic War among the younger generation. First of all, patriotic education contributes to this. The All-Russian Children's Center "Smena" contributes to the development of this area. The All-Russian conference "Formation of an effective system of patriotic education of children and youth" is held annually at the center. It examines the problems of patriotic education in modern conditions.
