In this section we introduce you to important books about youth policy and youth work. The first publication we are presenting is "Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States – 15 years".
In this collection you can get acquainted in detail with the activities and key projects of the Council for Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States. The history of its foundation and development is also presented.
Over 15 years, dozens of members of the Council and representatives of the CIS Executive Committee have played an important role in the development of international youth cooperation, solving youth problems, finding and introducing new formats of cooperation between young people of the CIS countries.
Over the past few years, the Council has initiated a number of projects, many of which have become the hallmark of the organization. These include, for example, the contest "100 ideas for the CIS" and the Forum of Youth Organizations of the CIS countries.
The first section of the collection introduces readers to the history, achievements and priorities of the Council. The second section is devoted to the development and prospects of the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation of the CIS Member States for 2021-2030. The implementation of the state youth policy in the CIS countries is also described in detail in a separate section.
Special attention is devoted to the work of the Council in the year of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The final part presents analytical material on the exchange of experience in volunteer activities to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
