01.06.2023

The decision to hold the holiday was made in 1925 at the World Conference on the Welfare of Children in Geneva.

It is intended to remind of the need to protect the rights of children. Today the UN Member States have the Convention on the Rights of the Child adopted in 1989. This international document unites the entire spectrum of rights: civil, political, economic, social and cultural.

In honor of the holiday we present to you the collection "Statistical collections about children in the CIS countries".

Materials from this collection give an idea of the situation of children in Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Moldova.
