Information reference "Youth capitals in the Commonwealth of Independent States"

02.10.2023

Assigning the status of the "Youth Capital" to settlements is one of the most effective forms of sharing experience with young people. There are both national projects about youth capitals and international ones. For example, in 2022, the CIS Youth Capital project was created. As part of it, Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan) will become the first Youth Capital in 2024.

Thanks to the status of the "Youth Capital", the locality gets the opportunity to demonstrate the effectiveness of the development of youth policy infrastructure as well as information and financial support for the implementation of advanced ideas in the field of youth work.

In the publication the history of competitions and their regulations are examined.

It also provides information about what events are being held in the selected localities.
