The holiday has been established in order to increase the prestige of the profession of a high school teacher. It is celebrated on the birthday of a major Russian scientist M.V. Lomonosov.
In 2021, which was declared the Year of Science and Technology by the President of the Russian Federation, Minister of Education and Science V. N. Falkov signed a decree establishing a new holiday. It is assumed that the holiday will strengthen the interest of young people in the teaching profession and ensure the influx of personnel into the research environment.
In honor of this holiday by the end of the month we are preparing the release of an analytical reference "Specialty "Youth work" in the CIS Member States".
The document will include a brief overview of the Soviet period of the specialty's development as well as training at the level of higher professional education and experience in organizing retraining and advanced training of employees in this specialty in the Commonwealth space.
