We congratulate our subscribers and colleagues from the Republic of Belarus on this annual holiday. It has been held since 1998 on the last Sunday of June.
On June 25, 2021 President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree according to which the holiday was renamed from the Youth Day to the Youth and Students' Day. Such a change contributes to improving the status of students and their role in the socio-political life of Belarus. Also, the shift of emphasis in the name of the holiday helps to unite student and working youth on the basis of the best traditions of continuity of youth movements.
