The Youth Day was established in 2017. The date of the holiday was chosen in connection with the formation of the Union of Youth. 

In addition to the cultural and entertainment program, traditionally on June 30 talented young people are awarded the State Prize Award "Mard Uglon". It is awarded to young people aged 14 to 30 years for special achievements in the field of science, education, medicine, culture, literature, art, sports, etc.
