Every year on February 8 the Day of Russian Science is celebrated. It was established by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation in 1999. Today, under the rubric "Expert community", we introduce you to Yulia Albertovna Zubok, one of the leading specialists in the sociology of youth in Russia.
Yulia Zubok is the Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Institute of Socio-Political Studies of the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. She developed theories of social integration and social exclusion of young people. She also created a typology of specifically youth conflicts and models of their resolution.
Moreover, she is one of the authors of the riskological concept of youth, concepts of youth extremism, social regulation and self-regulation in a changing social reality.
