The Russian State Library is holding a conference from April 18 to 20. Every year it examines a wide range of issues on the theory and practice of library science, bibliography, book studies, and current areas of library activity.
In 2023 a round table "The role of libraries in the preservation and development of intercultural communication" will be held at the conference. It is timed to coincide with the Year of the Russian Language as the Language of Interethnic Communication in the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The section "Scientific interests of young researchers and the library" will also be introduced, which is held as part of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor in Russia.
The conference will be held offline and online.
Specialists of libraries, archives, museums, universities, research institutes, publishing houses, representatives of government agencies and public organizations are invited to participate.
Registration lasts until March 20.
