From November 15 to November 18 Chelyabinsk will host the annual Russian-Tajik Youth Forum. In 2022 the event will be dedicated to the development of youth media.
The purposes of the event are to strengthen cooperation between youth of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan, exchange experience between young journalists and search for new topics for joint initiatives.
As part of the event it is planned to hold master classes, lectures, business games dedicated to topical issues of media development in Russia and Tajikistan. Among topics discussed: what is SMM and whether it is needed by media, the possible victory of a picture over a text, what tools of a real fact checker, etc.
The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the basic organization of the CIS Member States for working with youth (RTU MIREA), the MSU Information and Analytical Centre, South Ural State University (National Research University), the National Youth Council of Russia.
Young people from 18 to 35 years old are invited to participate. Among them are representatives of youth public organizations, young leaders, university students, representatives of media and structures implementing youth policy in Russia and Tajikistan.
Applications for participation in the event are accepted until November 1, 2022 (23:59 Moscow time) at the link.
