Today we want to present you the publication "The Great Patriotic War. Anniversary statistical collection" released in 2020 by the Federal State Statistics Service.

In this collection you can get acquainted with statistical information about the population, its mobilization, evacuation and living conditions, the state of the economy on the eve of the war, the restructuring of the economy in wartime and post-war reconstruction. Data on human and material losses are also provided. Special attention is paid to children and youth. The age and gender structure of the population, information about education and work are given.

An important task for the state is to preserve the memory of the Great Patriotic War among the younger generation. First of all, patriotic education contributes to this. Various forms of work in this direction with children and youth can be found in the publications that are presented in the collection "Methods of working with youth in the field of patriotic education in the Russian Federation".

The collection contains methodological recommendations on the organization and conduct of military-patriotic events, Lessons of courage, methodological manuals on the topic of civil-patriotic education in Russia.
