The All-Union Leninist Young Communist League was established on October 29, 1918. According to the Charter of the Komsomol, this public organization helped the Communist Party of the Soviet Union to educate young people in the spirit of communism, to involve them in the practical construction of a new society.
Millions of young men and women have been the members of the Komsomol.
Today in the CIS youth work is largely based on the Komsomol experience.
There are a number of successor organizations of the Komsomol. In addition, there are youth political organizations in the post-Soviet space that ideologically continue the Komsomol tradition. We will tell you about them soon in the new monthly publication of the e-library.
