The 17th All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Informational service in the era of electronic communications"

Acceptance of applications for the conference is open at the Central City Public Library named V. V. Mayakovsky in St. Petersburg.

This year the topic of the conference is "Effective work in the electronic environment of specialists of libraries, museums, archives". The event will bring together specialists from libraries, archives, museum staff, specialists from centres of scientific and technical information, programmers and technologists of informational and retrieval systems. Specialists from various fields will be able to share successful practices in the development of libraries in the online space.

The conference is held in a hybrid format on the basis of the Central City Public Library named V. V. Mayakovsky in St. Petersburg.

Participants can make a presentation (10 minutes) or a report (15 minutes). The conference will be held using online communication services. The report can also be presented in a video recording (duration 10 minutes).

Registration of participants (in person and online) will last until October 20. It should be noted the number of full-time participants may be limited in accordance with sanitary requirements.

1)      vectors for the development of competencies of specialists in libraries, museums, archives at the present stage,

2)      factors of variability of qualification requirements for specialists working in the field of scientific, educational and educative information,

3)      professional standard of a library specialist as a qualifying reference point: wait or use,

4)      the social role of professional associations in determining the authority of a specialist and qualification requirements for him,

5)      libraries, museums, archives as professional and educational centres,

6)      efficiency of work with open sources of electronic information,

7)      work with subscription electronic resources of libraries at the present stage of access to scientific information,

8)      relevance of copyright observance in the work of libraries,

9)      development of informational literacy of users in the practice of libraries, museums, archives,

10)  effective practices of working with the target audience in social networks,

11)  informational behaviour of a modern consumer of information,

12)  effectiveness of search tools and services of informational resources of libraries, museums, archives,

13)  development of remote access to the content of museums, archives, libraries,

14)  working tools for specialists of libraries, museums, archives in conditions of remote and offline customer service.
