The event took place in Gomel, Republic of Belarus, from March 25 to 27. The forum was attended by over 50 representatives of foreign delegations from:

Republic of Kazakhstan
Republic of Kyrgyzstan
Russian Federation
Republic of Turkmenistan
Republic of Uzbekistan
The forum participants worked in international groups, were engaged in project activities, exchanged practices, and also went on excursions to the Coral Technopark, the Gomel Regional Center for Inclusive Culture, the Gomel TV and Radio Company, and the Korenevskaya Experimental Forest Base.
The main goals of the forum were:
• creating a platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices;
• discussion and development of new strategies and initiatives;
• increasing the effectiveness of volunteer activities within the SDGs;
• formation of international youth teams;
• development of cooperation in the implementation of joint projects.
Following the forum, it is planned to:
• creation of International Sustainable Development Groups;
• development of joint projects and initiatives;
• development of the volunteer movement in the CIS countries.
The event was organized by: the Republican Volunteer Center of the Republic of Belarus with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Republican Youth Center of Belarus.
Recall that the Republican Volunteer Center at the Republican Institute of Higher Education (RIVSH) performs the functions of the basic organization of the CIS member states for the development of the youth volunteer (volunteer) movement. The status of the basic organization was assigned to RIVSH on October 7, 2024 by the decision of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers.
