A meeting of the commission created under the Ministry of Science and Education was held in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The goal is to develop new educational programs. The commission formed 9 working groups in various areas.
Thus, up to 35 new specialties that meet the requirements of the labor market may appear in the country's universities.
According to experts, the creation of 7 new specialties at the bachelor's level, 20 at the master's level and 8 at the residency stage will contribute to an increase in qualified personnel.
New master's programs will allow students to continue their education in highly specialized areas.
For example, the creation of the specialty "Teacher of Mathematics and Physics" can help solve the problem of the shortage of teachers with dual specialties, especially in the regions.
In addition, the introduction of the "Special Pedagogy" program will provide an opportunity to develop and apply teaching methods for students with disabilities.
