Annotation
The national report was prepared by order of the Ministry of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document is presented mainly in the Kazakh language. Socio-demographic characteristics of families are given. The process of implementing family policy is shown (including international experience). The system of values of the Kazakh family is also described. On its basis trends in the transformation of family traditions are analyzed.
