Annotation
While writing the document the regulatory legal framework on family and gender policy, data from the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, data from state bodies, results of sociological research and an expert survey of the Kazakhstan Institute of Social Development "Rukhani Zhangyru" were used. This report reflects results of studying issues of socio-demographic characteristics of Kazakh families, national and international experience in the development of family and demographic policy, family health protection.
