The document deals in detail with the Law "On Education" (1997) of the Government of Uzbekistan. The Law is considered from two points of view. On the one hand, it is analyzed in the context of the rights of the child. On the other hand, the analysis of the law from the position of "knowledge-based economy" is shown. The first option concerns the early education of children and school education, and the second option is relevant for the stage of education following secondary education and, most importantly, for higher education.
