Annotation
The book contains the results of the project implemented in the period from January 8, 2014 to June 30, 2014. A comparative analysis of the legal status and existing mechanisms for protecting the rights of compatriots living in post-Soviet countries is presented. While describing the situation in different countries the topic of the position of young people in them, especially the issue of knowledge of the Russian language, was also touched upon.
