Annotation

The permissive standard of service provision "Promotion of occupational guidance of citizens aged 14 to 30 years" is developed by the Department of Youth Policy and Public Relations of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Russia. The standard is addressed to state and municipal institutions working with youth and is recommended for use in work in accordance with applicable law. The point of the service is to provide assistance in professional self-determination in order to make an informed decision on choosing the professional path for citizens aged 14 to 30 including based on the most popular professions in a particular subject of the Russian Federation. According to the Standard, the service means providing qualified consultations, holding seminars on professional education, retraining courses on possible areas of professional activity for citizens aged 14 to 30 years. As part of the service it is also expected to provide qualified advice on the procedure for applying to employment service for the professional orientation of citizens in order to choose the field of activity (profession), employment, and vocational training.
