The results of a study conducted in Moscow on the needs of parents in obtaining information about their children from teachers are published. The research questions such as the need of parents for timely information about the school life of their children, assessment of the availability of means of timely information to parents, the attitude of parents to the proposed "Open School" project are identified. Finally, the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents are presented.
