The childhood of two conventional generations of young people including millennials and zoomers is studied. The rationale for the new concept of "child’s life event" is given. The methodological possibilities of studying the eventfulness of growing up using the author’s methodology "Eventfulness of Generation Z" are revealed. The limitations of the application of the modern theory of XYZ generations including the difficulty of drawing a clear boundary between generations at the turn of the century are demonstrated.
