Annotation

The article is devoted to the issue of measuring the subjective perception of the situation of poverty in childhood in modern Russian society. The authors come to the conclusion that child poverty can be influenced not only by the state through the provision of additional cash benefits to low-income families, but also by other agents, for example, NPOs, schools and the variety of growing-up events they offer, compensating for elements of the poverty subculture.
