The purpose of this study was to identify trends in the use of social networks by Russian youth 14–21 years old. The research objectives were to assess the level of youth involvement in social networks, to establish the reasons for registration in social networks, to determine the focus of youth activity in social networks, to assess the level of parental activity in social networks.
