In the structure of the employed the main share of 77.3% were persons aged 25-54, 11.5% were young people aged 15-24 and 11.2% were aged 55 and over. By 2021 the number of the labour force aged 15 and over reached 334,000. In the total labour force the urban population accounted for 185,100 people (55.4%) and women for 162,600 people (48.7%). The labour force participation rate was 77.2%.
