The sex and age structure of the Region's population as of January 1, 2020 is published. It is noticeable that up to the age range from 35 to 39 years old, men predominate, with a small margin. In the age range from 40 to 65+ women predominate. This demographic gap increases significantly from indicator to indicator. The number of women aged 65+ is twice as high as the number of men.
