Annotation
This declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly. It is designed to ensure the dissemination among young people of ideals of peace, mutual respect and understanding between peoples. To achieve such goals the UN General Assembly, through the declaration, calls on governments, non-governmental organizations and youth movements to recognize the principles established in the document and ensure their observance by taking the necessary measures.
