The document is developed by three organizations: ILO, UNICEF and the World Bank. This report includes information on key social protection programs in Uzbekistan. It also assesses the feasibility of programs, their effectiveness, efficiency and cost-effectiveness, financial stability. The report identifies the main strengths and weaknesses of the social protection system and presents the number of conclusions and recommendations for strengthening it in Uzbekistan. In addition, the document informs about the current important and rapidly changing reform programs aimed at maintaining high rates of economic growth. The document includes the number of recommendations. For example, it is recommended that the national integrated social protection strategy be developed and that all its functions be integrated into the single specialized agency.
