Annotation

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme was established in 1970 aiming at developing volunteerism in the world. UNV’s Special Voluntary Fund (SVF) is an open trust fund consisting of financial contributions from UN Member States. It allows for the rapid allocation of resources to fulfill the two-pronged mandate of the UN: to promote volunteerism for the 2030 Agenda and to send volunteers to support the UN. The report contains information about contribution of SVF to strengthening national volunteerism; realization of advanced research and knowledge exchange in the field of volunteerism; carriage an Action Plan to integrate volunteerism into the Agenda for the period up to 2030.
