Annotation

Data from interdisciplinary longitudinal studies, meta-analyses and cross-sections are presented. School bullying is shown to contribute to increased risks of self-harm and suicidal behaviour, psychosomatic problems, substance use and criminalization. The findings apply not only to victims of bullying, but also to those who played the role of an aggressive victim or aggressor in bullying situations.
