Five main leisure categories such as games, environmental exploration, risk-taking, socialising with peers, culturally mediated activity (visiting museums, skating rinks, etc.) are identified. The differences in street leisure between generations consisting in the chronology of children of different generations' exploration of street space and the content of their street leisure are shown.
