The demographic collection is prepared taking into account data from 2014 to 2018. Age-specific mortality rates are calculated as the ratio of the number of deaths at a given age during a calendar year to the average annual number of persons of that age. Similarly, mortality rates by cause of death are calculated as the ratio of the number of deaths from the specified causes of death to the average annual number of the population.
