The results of the study conducted in 1998 by the Center for Education and Youth of the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences are published, during the conduction 2,500 students of these educational institutions were surveyed. At the first stage in the spring young men and women answered the questions of the "Graduate Questionnaire". At the second stage in the fall information about the place where they actually went to work or study was collected.
