Annotation
The author refers to sixteen sociological studies of the 1990s conducted on the topic "Children in the city". The surveys were conducted in three main areas including the behaviour of children outside the family space, in the field of their children's subculture and self-realization, socio-psychological aspects of childhood injuries in road accidents, children's labour on the streets. The author substantiates the possibility of historical and sociological analysis for comparative studies of the present and the future.
