The social contradictions accumulated in society in relation to childhood, including the lack of initiation rites prepared by cultural tradition, positive or negative attitudes towards physical punishment, gender roles in the family, communication on equal terms between an adult and a child, childlessness, are highlighted. The author considers it necessary to agree on the points such as the boundaries of childhood, periodization, the social status of children at the macro level, regulation of the forms and nature of interaction between adults and children at the micro level for the creation of a dialogue of cultures on the scale of the human community.
